Singapore

Hey everyone... this blog entry comes to you from the Singapore Airport. Its about 9:30 PM Local Time... and my flight doesnt leave for another couple of hours...so I decided to do some exploring (not to worry dad... I am keeping a very sharp eye on my watch and where I am...)The flight from Perth to here was really interesting. There was a couple in front of me with two extremely tired and angry twin 2year old boys. I think they screamed for at least three hours strait. I offered to help a couple of times and got to play with them for a bit. They were really cute boys and once I played with them they seemed to calm down. They liked to run up and down the isles... and play in the little compartment bins that held empty bags used for the headphones and what not. One of them just sat and cuddled with me for a while. Really cute. I played with them for a couple of hours.. it was nice becuase I really had nothing else to do and they acted much better when i took them to go play instead of being bound to their seats. All the flight attendants kept asking if they were my kids. Hehe... nope! Everyone asked me if I worked with kids... I told them kinda, but then shared about Ish and Caleb and Seth. Aw man.... i miss those guys. These boys were definatly a handful... and they were back to screaming again once we had to return to our seats to land.. haha. Poor things. They were just so exausted.

Well I have another 7hr flight ahead of me. Love you all so so much.

Em! It sounds as if you are growing comfortable with being out in the great big world! Our world is beginning to feel bigger too, with you sending these blogs from the other side of the world! Wow!I'm glad you have had a good rest in Perth. I'm sure this next leg will be a stetch in regards to food and culture! Thanks for the pictures and notes. It helps alot seeing and hearing from you... (FYI... Lydia is on her back wiggling around making loud nose noises!!! Bosco is on their bed asleep.) Wes and Julie's wedding was wonderful!!!! God was glorified!!!!!!!!!! All of our cell phones were out of commision so we were unable to text and send pictures during the event. I believe it was everything they hoped for. Leasa caught the bouquet and Justin Lopes caught the garter. Ish and Caleb's grandparents brought them by to see Wes and Julie for a brief hello. The rest of the wedding party stayed in the same hotel. Julie's mom looks just like Julie. She is gigglely and fun like Julie too!!!! The dad is very tall and very friendly.Wes has married into a nice christian family! We are very happy for them!!!!! (Lydia has moved over to the dog bed but has been careful to only put half of her body on it for fear of disturbing Bosco....Jeepers. What a pair.) The Kuznitz got another dog for Heidi to agility train. Apparently she would like to try to compete with her. I can't wait to hear about the next chapter of your jouney to the orient. Love you, Mom

Hi Emily,

I was going to give you an update on what Lydia and Bosco are doing but I can see Mom has that covered. You do such a great job of staying in touch, (reading my mind :-)) and letting us know is such great terms how your trip is going. You're such a great person! I can see how others would wonder if you were the Mother of those boys. What a great thing to do for those tired parents (and the rest of the passengers). I'm sure I would have done the same thing...? Ok, maybe not.

Leasa and Justin did catch the flowers and garters respectively. I told Justin that meant he has to marry Leasa. He got REAL quiet. So did Ashlynn. :-)

Love you,
Dad
